Mental Health Therapist – Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a licensed mental health professional passionate about providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care in a hybrid online and in-person setting. Therapists must be open to holistic and integrative approaches such as EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The ideal candidate should also be open to diversifying clinical services, including individual sessions, workshops, groups, and public speaking opportunities.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

• LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC license required. 
• LMSW, LMFTA or LPCA considered with supervision agreement.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and holistic practices (EMDR, Somatic Therapy, IFS, TF-CBT, etc.)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• License in good standing in the State of Connecticut and/or Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience.
• Capacity for at least 20 clients billable weekly, including 1-2 evenings. 
• Reliable internet connection for online sessions.

We are seeking a Registered Dietician who is licensed in Connecticut. Part-time position with ability to grow with practitioner.

Must be culturally competent, client-focused, and have a PASSION for working within a multidisciplinary team!

Qualifications:

• Can provide Virtual and/or In-Person Nutrition Counseling to individuals and groups.
• Counsels general nutrition, weight loss/management, diabetes management, and meal planning.
• Experiencing assisting clients in navigating food allergies, auto-immune disorders, and/or chronic health conditions.
• Can develop customized nutrition and wellness plans based on the client’s needs, goals, budget, and lifestyle.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or equivalent required 
• Focus on Functional Nutrition preferred
• 1-2 year RD experience, 1+ year of nutrition counseling experience preferred
• Experience with Eating Disorder clients a plus.
• CT licensure/certification preferred or qualified to apply for licensure,

Compensation:

Fee for Service W2 Position. $45-$55 DOE per hour session. $20 per hour administrative/marketing duties.

Position Summary: The Client Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for welcoming clients, staff, and the community to the Healing Springs Wellness Center environment, whether in person, on the phone, or via email. The Client Coordinator plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our center, including answering phone calls and emails, scheduling patient appointments, conducting intakes, and representing the company professionally and positively. They exercise the utmost discretion, diplomacy, and tact in all customer interactions. The Client Care Coordinator reports directly to the Practice Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Demonstrate exceptional patient relations skills, both on the phone and in-person.
• Ensure client demographics and insurance information are accurate and current, ensuring comprehensive initial client documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits before initial sessions and keep of ongoing insurance eligibility.
• Timely and effectively respond to all phone calls, messages, and emails within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Serves as a valuable resource for patients and providers, addressing inquiries related to intakes and scheduling.
• Uphold regular attendance, personal appearance, punctuality, and health and safety procedures.
• Ensures office cleanliness, organization, and timely inventory management.
• Facilitate the faxing of necessary documents for clinicians and office staff.
• Collaborate with the billing team for insurance verification and payment collection.

• Polite, professional, and friendly demeanor.
• Thorough knowledge of the mission and operations of the Healing Springs Wellness Center’s
