POSITION TITLE: Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMFTA, LPC, LPCA)

LOCATION: Healing Springs Wellness Center, Plantsville, Connecticut

REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director

SUPERVISES: N/A

HOURS: Part-Time (20 to 24 billable hours) Full-Time (25-40 billable hours)

PAY:  Fee For Service Position. 

Fully Licensed Therapists: Pay Range $50-55   

Masters Level Therapists: Pay Range: $40-45

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Mental Health Therapist – Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a licensed mental health professional passionate about providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care in a hybrid online and in-person setting. Therapists must be open to holistic and integrative approaches such as EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The ideal candidate should also be open to diversifying clinical services, including individual sessions, workshops, groups, and public speaking opportunities.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC license required. 
  • LMSW, LMFTA or LPCA considered with supervision agreement.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and holistic practices (EMDR, Somatic Therapy, IFS, TF-CBT, etc.)
  • Strong clinical skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Intuitive, compassionate, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • License in good standing in the State of Connecticut
  • LCSW, LMFT, and LPC Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • LMSW, LMFTA, and LPCA Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Capacity for at least 20 clients billable weekly, including 2 evenings. 
  • Reliable internet connection for online sessions.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Part-time W2 positions are available, with remote online and in-person therapy options. This is a fee for service position: 

Fully Licensed Therapists: Pay Range $50-55 and Masters Level Therapists: Pay Range: $40-45

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a background in mental health or healthcare

administration to lead our front office operations. The Office Manager plays a vital role in creating a

seamless client experience, supporting clinical staff, and managing day-to-day business functions,

including scheduling, billing coordination, and office systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience supervising front office staff in a behavioral health, mental health, or medical office setting is required.
  • A degree in Health Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (TherapyNotes is preferred).
  • Cultural humility and a commitment to equity and inclusion, along with a solid understanding of the cultural and social backgrounds of diverse populations. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities.
