My approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply client-centered. Supporting clients in strengthening relationships, rebuilding trust, and reconnecting with their identity and sense of purpose is at the heart of my work.
I’m Corey Zemke, a Licensed Master Social Worker who believes healing happens best in spaces where you feel safe, seen, and supported. I walk alongside teens, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with themselves, and move toward greater clarity, stability, and emotional well-being.
My approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply client-centered. I support individuals and families through life transitions, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and moments when things feel overwhelming or uncertain. Whether you’re rebuilding after a difficult season or simply seeking space to reflect and grow, therapy with me is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and be exactly who you are without pressure or judgment.
I’m drawn to this work because of the resilience I see in people, even when they don’t yet recognize it in themselves. I know how powerful it can be to have someone sit with you through hard moments, help you make sense of your experiences, and move at a pace that feels right for you. Supporting clients in strengthening relationships, rebuilding trust, and reconnecting with their identity and sense of purpose is at the heart of my work.

My professional background includes working in intensive, evidence-based family therapy programs, where I supported families navigating trauma, substance use, interpersonal violence, parent–child conflict, and emotional dysregulation. I earned my MSW from the UConn School of Social Work, and these experiences shaped a strong foundation in trauma-informed, systemic, and relational care. I bring extensive experience working with adolescents, caregivers, and complex family systems, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions, with a focus on building practical skills that support long-term stability and growth.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and recovery, family and relational dynamics, anxiety and emotional regulation, and LGBTQIA+ affirming support for youth, adults, and families. I’m especially passionate about helping clients explore identity, strengthen boundaries, and cultivate healthier, more connected relationships. My work integrates evidence-based practices with a collaborative, down-to-earth style that empowers you to take an active role in your healing.
Clients often describe our work together as supportive, grounding, and conversational. I adapt my approach to what you need, sometimes offering structure and guidance, and other times creating space for reflection and exploration. I believe therapy can hold both depth and lightness, and I use humor when appropriate to help make the process feel more human and approachable. My goal is for you to feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to not feel alone, and gently challenged as you grow.
Healing looks different for everyone, and together we’ll discover what healing means for you. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
