My approach to therapy is client-centered. I meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels right for you. Whether we’re exploring past trauma, working through grief, or strengthening relationships, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Hello, and welcome! My name is Olivier Jean-Pierre, and I am a Mental Health Therapist here at Healing Springs Wellness Center. I know that seeking therapy is a significant and sometimes challenging step, and I want you to know that you’re in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space.
My goal is to help you navigate life’s difficulties with compassion, insight, and practical tools that foster healing and growth.
In addition to my role as a therapist, I also serve as a career firefighter. This experience has given me unique insight into the emotional and psychological challenges that first responders face daily. Tragically, more first responders lose their lives to suicide than to incidents encountered in the line of duty. This reality has fueled my deep desire to make mental health support more accessible, especially for those who serve our communities in high-stress roles.
While I have a special place in my heart for first responders, I welcome clients from all walks of life.
I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with PTSD, depression, grief, and relationship challenges. I also work with couples who are looking to improve satisfaction within their relationship by building deeper connections, understanding their cycles of conflict, and creating positive cycles that foster stronger emotional bonds.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Sociology and Religious Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work.
My primary therapeutic modalities include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma processing and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples, both of which are evidence-based methods that can create meaningful, lasting change.
Additionally, I am a clinician on the Fairfield County Trauma Response Team, a group of dedicated therapists who provide mental health resources and support to first responders and their families.
Clients often describe me as engaging, conversational, empathetic, and deeply compassionate. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels right for you. As someone who is well-accustomed to maintaining a cool demeanor in very stressful environments, I strive to be a calming, steadfast presence during our sessions.
Whether we’re exploring past trauma, working through grief, or strengthening relationships, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and together, we will work toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.
