POSITION TITLE: Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMFTA, LPC, LPCA)

LOCATION: Healing Springs Wellness Center, Plantsville, Connecticut

REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director

SUPERVISES: N/A

HOURS: Part-Time (20 to 24 billable hours) Full-Time (25-40 billable hours)

PAY:  Fee For Service Position. 

Fully Licensed Therapists: Pay Range $50-55   

Masters Level Therapists: Pay Range: $40-45

Mental Health Therapist – Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a licensed mental health professional passionate about providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care in a hybrid online and in-person setting. Therapists must be open to holistic and integrative approaches such as EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The ideal candidate should also be open to diversifying clinical services, including individual sessions, workshops, groups, and public speaking opportunities.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC license required. 
  • LMSW, LMFTA or LPCA considered with supervision agreement.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and holistic practices (EMDR, Somatic Therapy, IFS, TF-CBT, etc.)
  • Strong clinical skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Intuitive, compassionate, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
  • A holistic approach to mental health and wellness.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • License in good standing in the State of Connecticut
  • LCSW, LMFT, and LPC Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • LMSW, LMFTA, and LPCA Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Capacity for at least 20 clients billable weekly, including 2 evenings. 
  • Reliable internet connection for online sessions.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Part-time W2 positions are available, with remote online and in-person therapy options. This is a fee for service position: 

Fully Licensed Therapists: Pay Range $52-55 and Masters Level Therapists: Pay Range: $45-48

We are seeking a Registered Dietician who is licensed in Connecticut. Part-time position with ability to grow with practitioner.

Must be culturally competent, client-focused, and have a PASSION for working within a multidisciplinary team!

Qualifications:

  • Can provide Virtual and/or In-Person Nutrition Counseling to individuals and groups.
  • Counsels general nutrition, weight loss/management, diabetes management, and meal planning.
  • Experiencing assisting clients in navigating food allergies, auto-immune disorders, and/or chronic health conditions.
  • Can develop customized nutrition and wellness plans based on the client’s needs, goals, budget, and lifestyle.
  • Master’s degree in Nutrition or equivalent required 
  • Focus on Functional Nutrition preferred
  • 1-2 year RD experience, 1+ year of nutrition counseling experience preferred
  • Experience with Eating Disorder clients a plus.
  • CT licensure/certification preferred or qualified to apply for licensure,

Compensation:

Fee for Service W2 Position. $45-$55 DOE per hour session. $20 per hour administrative/marketing duties.

Position Summary
The Client Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional client experience and efficient office operations. This position involves client communication, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, wellness, or hospitality, with a strong focus on client engagement and sales.

Client Coordination

  • Provide warm, professional customer service via in-person, phone, and email interactions.
  • Manage client scheduling and ensure accurate client records and insurance verification.
  • Address client inquiries about services, scheduling, and treatment options promptly.
  • Educate clients on available services, integrating upselling opportunities to enhance their wellness journey.

Office Management

  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and well-stocked office space.
  • Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to handle insurance verification and payment inquiries.
  • Prepare monthly reports on client appointments, cancellations, and office metrics.
  • Uphold HIPAA-compliant record-keeping for all client interactions.

Sales and Client Engagement

  • Use interpersonal skills and sales experience to support client retention and promote wellness services.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach efforts, including follow-up calls and community engagement.
  • Stay informed about all center services to educate and guide clients effectively.

Additional Duties

  • Coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with Healing Springs’ values.
  • Maintain professionalism, consistent attendance, and embody the center’s mission of compassionate care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Customer Service and Sales: Professional and approachable, with the ability to identify client needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, including grammar and spelling.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and mental health services is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with electronic medical record systems, preferably Therapy Notes.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diverse backgrounds; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach to administrative duties.
