My mission is to help individuals heal and find new meaning in their lives.
Throughout my journey as a mental health therapist and my personal experiences, I’ve come to understand that all of us, in some way or another, face challenges and adversities. These struggles vary, as do the solutions. In our sessions, we will delve into the chapters of your life, fostering an environment of understanding and exploration. Through thoughtful inquiry, we’ll uncover the essence of your experiences and how they’ve shaped your identity.
It’s not always easy to confront our reflections, but together, we’ll harness and enhance the strengths you inherently possess, preparing you for any revelations that might arise. With your readiness for change and my commitment to providing a nurturing space, your genuine aspirations and needs will naturally emerge. These insights will guide the path we tread together.
By the end of our collaborative journey, you’ll gain clarity about your past, bolster your self-awareness, refine the way you regulate emotions, discover your life’s true passions, and ultimately, lead a life filled with purpose and meaning.

My professional training began as an undergraduate Criminal Justice major at Mitchell College.
I later attended the University of Bridgeport, where I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Currently, I am attending the University of Rochester for a Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education.
I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma Therapy, and Substance Abuse treatment.
I provide compassionate, culturally informed, and evidence based treatment. In my professional career, I have worked with a diverse population of clients, from teenagers to older adults. I specialize in helping individuals deal with anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as deal with the pressures of family, school, work, and relationships.
As a black male therapist, I also believe in providing a safe space for people of color to feel vulnerable enough to explore their feelings and find the healing they desire.
My strength-based approach, helps clients to looks at who they really are, understand the strengths they already possess, and help them to establish a transcendent vision for themselves. During our session, we will establish clear measurable goals and work towards getting you closer to that vision. I will empower you to be more self-compassionate, and self-accepting, allowing you to feel more confident as you navigate your life.
