My mission is to help individuals heal their emotional pain so that they can live authentically and find personal joy.
My name is Heather Gagne, and I’m a second-year graduate student at The Ohio State University, currently completing my clinical internship at Healing Springs Wellness Center. Starting in Fall 2025, I’ll be offering affordable therapy as part of my training to become a licensed mental health therapist.
With over 10 years of experience in social services, I’ve had the honor of supporting people through a wide range of life transitions and emotional challenges. My previous work has included roles as an in-home case manager, a Behavioral Health Specialist in a hospital setting, and an academic tutor. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how issues like anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, and family conflict can impact everyday life.
I work from a foundation of empathy, cultural humility, and respect. Therapy is most effective when you feel truly seen and heard, and I strive to create a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment. I have a special interest in supporting:
Individuals navigating grief and loss
Individuals who are co-parenting or going through family transitions
LGBTQ+ individuals and others from diverse backgrounds
